The MSG is a study group in three subjects that meets one week per month for nine modules from September to May.  Students are taught one month of material in 5 days (M-F). The remainder of the time the students complete their assignments at home or in local groups.  We allow MKs from various locations to be part of a school community, and the goal is to help families continue to fulfill their calling.  This can be people from Chiang Mai, other locations in Thailand, and the surrounding countries.

The MSG model has been operating in one Asian location since 2007. We have had a great deal of success with students enjoying the program and families feeling well-supported.

The MSG has been running since 2007 and we have never been accredited. In general, we think that accreditation is beneficial, but the nature of the MSG does not lend itself to an easy accreditation process. We believe we can accomplish our task without accreditation. Therefore, those who need an accredited diploma need to find another schooling option.

The short answer is none. Due to needing to cover all the material in a week, the High School is in class from 8 AM to 5 PM (Middle School is from 8 AM to 4 PM) there is little time for other activities. Although we do not have a Music, Art, or Sports program, we encourage parents to involve their children in these activities during the three weeks at home.

This is possible but strongly discouraged.  If you have special circumstances you can contact the school administration and discuss your needs.

Students with special needs are evaluated on a case by case basis.  The currently operating MSG has had success with many children with mild to moderate special needs. However we provide no specially trained teachers or guaranteed plans.  Every teacher will make accommodations as they are able.

Due to the special and intense nature of the MSG (one intense week a month) it can be harder for students with special needs than at a regular school.
