Organizational Values

Devotion to Christ as he is revealed in the Scriptures

The Bible is the only authoritative source for knowing God and his will, and both are most clearly revealed in Jesus Christ. He is our deepest joy and our lives depend and center on him. Our supreme allegiance is to Christ as we love, trust, and obey him.

Openness and integrity

We strive to live before God and men/women, in public and in private, with a clear conscience, authenticity, and transparency.

An encouraging and respectful working environment

Our norm is affirmation, not criticism; a welcoming and warm attitude, not distant and cold; considerate and communicative, not rude or withdrawn. We seek to treat others as we would like to be treated.

Excellent and affordable education

Our students are prepared for the next phase of academia or vocation. Families should not be excluded from MSG CNX for financial reasons. Families can apply for financial assistance.

Supporting families serving the unreached

Our priority is to lessen the educational and social burden of families serving in remote areas, engaged in cross-culture service among the unreached peoples of SE Asia.

Team Values

Reverence for God’s Word and pleasing him in all things

The Bible is the only authoritative source for knowing God and his will. He is our deepest joy and our lives depend and center on him. Our supreme allegiance is to Christ as we seek to please him through joyful worship, faith, and obedience in every aspect of our lives.

Open and honest communication

We will be a safe place for unhindered sharing and communication as we strive to live before God and men/women, in public and in private, with a clear conscience, authenticity, and transparency.

Hard work and sacrifice that flows from resting in God’s grace

We are active and diligent, not lazy or sloppy, and assume that love is often costly, not convenient. Our fuel is the grace of God providing forgiveness and adoption through Jesus, and we refuse to labor to earn God’s favor.

Unity of mind and spirit while respecting and appreciating differences

We actively seek understanding of each other, pursuing agreement on overarching matters such as the authority of the Bible, the importance of humility, the centrality of God’s glory, supporting families, and developing students into disciples of Christ. We actively encourage and care for one another, intentionally pursuing relationships like we are family, not merely teammates or co-workers. We respect individual preferences and convictions, and value the various gifts, perspectives, and experiences each person adds to the team.
